And here we are! Oct 3rd 2010. The entire world is watching us. Hardly a few hours to go before the grand inaugural function of Commonwealth Games, Delhi-2010 !!
The Games has been on news for quite some time now, unfortunately, mostly for all the wrong reasons. But we have sailed through it all. Corruption...Controversies and are all set to showcase India in a new light.
The media did more bad than good i could say. The athletes are all getting a pleasant surprise in the games village, it is nothing like what they have seen or heard. Everyone is happy with the arrangements. I don't see that making into headlines.
Being the citizens of this beautiful nation, let us all do our bit. Be proud, that's the least we could do.. Be proud of India...Be proud we are hosting the biggest sporting extravaganza ever on Indian soil. Yes, we have done mistakes but lets stop ranting about it. Stop sending those jokes. There's going to be no board saying 'Go Slow' on the 100m racing track. Chances are only of new world records being set.
Well .... Let us all hope and pray that the 12 day event goes on to be the best CWG ever in history :) JIYO ....UTHO....BADO....JEETO !!
